Draga Zec was a commentator at the Cornell Workshop on Grammar Induction (May 14th-16th), commenting on Shimon Edelman’s paper “Rebooting Grammar Induction”.Molly Diesing and Draga Zec gave a presentation “The positions in of clitics in discourse” at the Syracuse Interface Workshop on April 24th, 2010.
Nikola Predolac gave a poster presentation at WCCFL XXVIII at the University of Southern California, February 19-21, 2010: "Relative Scope and Givenness in a Free-Word-Order Language".
We had two presentations at the LSA Annual Meeting in Baltimore, on January 8, 2010:
Esra Kesici presented “Turkish stress and the prosodic structure” and Nikola Predolac presented “Word order givenness and relative scope of focused arguments in Serbian."
