I’m a 4th year PhD student at Cornell University, majoring in Linguistics and minoring in Cognitive Science.

I have a broad interest in language and cognition, and a narrow interest in speech processing and production. My approach is computational and experimental.

My first qualifying paper is a corpus analysis of duration, pitch and intensity of disfluency in Switchboard (with Sam Tilsen), and I’m now studying modeling fMRI data with syntactic dependency, semantic similarity and prosody (with John Hale).

My Cognitive Science minor advisor is Morten Christiansen.
