The Cornell Speech Imaging Group is a cross-disciplinary team of researchers from the Weill Medical College MRI Laboratory Group, the Cornell Phonetics Lab, and Cornell Engineering. We use dynamic magnetic resonance imaging of the vocal tract to analyze speech articulation with state-of-the-art methods. Our current aims are to advance the theoretical understanding of speech motor control and to develop novel clinical applications for dynamic MRI.
