August 7-9, 2008

Over the past eighteen years, the biennial series of Diachronic Generative Syntax (DIGS) conferences has established itself as the leading forum for presentation of research on syntactic change in a generative framework. The conference alternates between venues in the United States and Europe. As at past DIGS conferences, papers will include a combination of invited talks and refereed abstracts on the general topic of syntactic change. For the first time, DIGS X will also include a poster session to encourage participation by younger scholars in this rapidly growing field.
